In May this year, this Norwegian client placed an order with our company for two diesel Generator Sets, specifically requesting the customisation of an additional base-mounted fuel tank. The addition of a base-mounted fuel tank effectively increases the unit’s fuel reserve capacity and extends its continuous operating time, making it particularly suitable for applications where uninterrupted power supply is essential.
Upon receiving the order, our technical team responded promptly, exercising strict control over every stage of production—from design and component selection to the assembly and commissioning of the complete units—to ensure that the products met the client’s expectations in terms of performance, reliability and safety. The two customised units were delivered on schedule, earning high praise from the client and laying a solid foundation of trust for the subsequent factory audit.
On-site Factory Audit: A Deep Dive into the Workshop to Discuss Quality
On the day of the factory audit, the Norwegian client, accompanied by our company’s management team, toured the sheet metal processing workshop, the generator set final assembly production line, the load testing centre and the finished product inspection area. The client expressed full satisfaction with the standardised management of the production site, the comprehensiveness of the equipment configuration and the rigour of the production process flow.
In the final assembly workshop, the client focused on inspecting the assembly process for the generator sets of the same model that had been previously ordered, gaining a detailed understanding of the welding process for the base and fuel tank, the sealing inspection procedures, and the load testing protocols prior to the unit’s dispatch. Our technical staff addressed and demonstrated each of the technical details raised by the client, and both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as product performance optimisation and operational maintenance plans.
