Oh My Ink Launches “Connect”, an All-in-One App for Tattoo Artists
HONG KONG – October 14, 2026 – Oh My Ink, the Hong Kong art-tech company behind the World’s First Tattoo Try-On Technology, is building an all-in-one app for tattoo artists called Oh My Ink Connect. The app puts an artist’s portfolio, availability, deposits and stencil printing in one place, accessed through a single link. Founded by a working tattoo artist, the company already operates Physical Tattoo Try-On Machines in malls and retail venues across multiple locations. Oh My Ink Connect is scheduled to launch in Q4 2026, and artists can register as founding artists now.
Tattoo artists currently work across separate tools that were never built to talk to each other. A portfolio lives on one app, a calendar sits on another, a booking flow with rates shown next to the work, a try-on feature that lets clients preview designs on their own photo, deposit collection at the point of booking, and built-in stencil printing. Oh My Ink Connect closes those gaps rather than asking an artist to change how they already work. Each artist gets an online tattoo shop that holds portfolio, styles and availability together, a booking flow with rates shown next to the work, and deposit collection at the point of booking. Clients can reach the artist directly from their page, and the artist keeps using the tools they use day to day.
“I opened my own tattoo studio years ago and I was doing the same thing every artist does, chasing a booking request on one app while printing stencils from another,” said John Ip, Founder / CEO of Oh My Ink and Mirror Tattoo. “Oh My Ink Connect exists because I needed it myself before anyone else did.”
Artists on Oh My Ink Connect also gain exposure beyond the link they send to people who already know their work. Selected designs are featured on Oh My Ink’s tattoo try-on machines around the city, so someone trying on a design at a mall or retail venue may be looking at a piece by an Oh My Ink Connect artist, a reach that an independent artist would struggle to build alone. For clients, the experience is built to feel simple and visual. After trying on a design at a machine, people can scan a QR code to open Oh My Ink Connect, where they can search and swipe through flash and portfolios, save designs they like so an idea from midnight is still there a week later, try a design on their own photo, and book the artist who made it, all in one app.
