From 702% ROI to 14,637% traffic growth: what published SaaS SEO cases actually measure

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – October 7, 2026 – SERPreach today released a SaaS SEO performance report featuring Embarque’s published 14,637% traffic growth for BlueTally and 1,600% revenue growth for MentorCruise. Cases and benchmarks from First Page Sage, The5Digital and Promodo broaden the view across traffic, leads, revenue, return and break-even, giving SaaS teams a practical model for measuring each stage separately.

Key Findings

  • The5Digital reports that Preply grew organic visits from 500,000 to 3.8 million over three years. The change is a 660% increase, with the ending level 7.6 times the starting level. [Source: The5Digital, Preply SEO case study]

Turn Standout SaaS Results Into Better Measurement

Together, the cases show that SaaS growth can surface at multiple stages: traffic, leads, revenue, return and break-even. Those outcomes measure different things and should be tracked separately rather than placed on one performance scale. A company beginning with little search visibility can also post a very large percentage gain while adding less absolute traffic than an established platform.

“The headline number is only the entry point,” said Sabahat Ali, founder of SERPreach. “A useful case study names the baseline, period, investment, work performed and commercial outcome. Without those fields, a percentage cannot become a forecast.”

Recurring revenue can improve the economics of acquisition when customers remain subscribed, but lifetime value varies by product, churn, margin and cohort. It is therefore not safe to assume that a particular content asset or editorial link pays for itself after one signup. Nor should teams substitute a target backlink count for commercial measurement. SaaS teams should model payback using their own gross margin and retention data.

The vendor cases nevertheless offer practical measurement ideas. Teams can track nonbrand visibility, qualified trial starts, pipeline, closed annual recurring revenue and customer-acquisition payback as separate stages. They should also record content, technical and outreach costs instead of attributing the entire outcome to the most visible activity. SERPreach’s guide to link-building results outlines related measurement considerations.

Methodology

SERPreach reviewed vendor-published material from First Page Sage, Embarque, The5Digital and Promodo. The examples were selected by their publishers and are not a random sample or sector benchmark. SERPreach did not audit the underlying analytics and makes no causal claim.
