Author Jennifer Pfeiffer Announces New Children’s Book
Educator and author Jennifer Pfeiffer is proud to announce the upcoming release of her latest work, Be Still, a beautifully illustrated children’s book designed to guide young readers through the spiritual disciplines of patience and trust. “I wanted to write this book for several reasons,” Pfeiffer stated when asked about her motivation. “I have a background in education, have worked in the Kindergarten classroom, and grew up with parents who had life-long careers in High School education. I have a love for God and for children as well as books that families grow up reading together at bedtime. Having 3 children of my own, I know how valuable that time is in instilling young readers with God’s words. In addition, I hope that families are reminded of the knowledge that we can trust in God and that He is in every detail. And that in our stillness, God shines brightly. In deciding what characters I wanted to portray in my first book, I knew immediately that I wanted to incorporate my oldest daughter, Ella, and our puppy Willow. Both are pure joy and have an inexplicable kindness to them.”
Featuring her own daughter and the family’s beloved Cavapoo, Willow, Pfeiffer adds a layer of warmth and authenticity that resonates with parents and children. The story encourages families to recognize God’s handiwork in the mundane and the magnificent, teaching the next generation that they are never alone in their journey.
